Josh and Krista got Engaged on September 3rd 2011. Josh proposed to Krista while visiting him for the summer…Josh and Krista have been in a long distance relationship for the past 3 years. They met while on vacation in Mexico ( they were staying at the same resort) and since that moment they knew it was meant to be. Josh Lives in Fargo, North Dakota and krista being from Halifax they have been flying back and forth every 3 months to see one another for these past 3 years. This distance between them has made them so strong and has made them believe that anything is possible. While visiting Fargo for the first time back in 2009 Krista fell in love with this Gazebo in the city park, they would walk through this park every visit just so i could see ‘my” gazebo. While on one of these many walks though the park on September 3rd Josh brought krista into the center of this Gazebo and went down on one knee and asked krista to marry him. Im sure she said yes a million times. This Gazebo now has so much more meaning to Krista and for them, it was a day to remember. When love between two people is so strong there is no amount of distance that can keep them apart. For Josh and Krista this is so true.
I love their story and I’m so happy to be capturing their engagement session come june time! Congrats again and watch out for the engagement photos! 🙂
Valentine’s Day Giveaway! Share your Engagement Story and Win!
Engagement shoots are probably my all time favorite sessions next to weddings. It’s a calm, quiet and amazing time in which couples get to express themselves and I get to capture it. So to celebrate all the love in the air sinceValentine’sday is just around the corner, I want to give away 1 sweet engagement session to 1 awesome couple!
What qualifies you for “awesomeness,” you ask? Here’s how to enter:
2. Email us at email@example.com a photo of you and your fiancé along with a short sweet story about how he proposed and the reason why you would like to win. We’re looking for a story that’s unusual and inspiring and that is about the couple. Do not worry about the quality of your photo. Don’t forget to include the couple’s names, the wedding date and contact numbers.
4. Ask your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers or anyone you know to go and “Like” your photo on our Facebook page. In order for their vote to count, they have to like our Facebook page as well. The photo with the most “Likes” by the end of the contest will be the winner of the photo shoot giveaway.
5. In exchange, the couple must be willing to allow us to post their story and use their photos in our blog and Facebook page.
The awesome couple will receive 2hr engagement session at any location of your choice in Halifax Nova Scotia, Canada, (themed shoots are encouraged, let’s have fun!) and a DVD of all the professionally edited high-resolution images with the rights to print.
Voting begins February 7th and will be closed on February 13th at midnight. The winner will be announced on Valentine’s Day February 14th. So go ahead and submit your photos and stories right away! The sooner you enter, the more votes you can get!
Thanks for the online love and good luck to all you love birds! I can’t wait to read your stories and meet the awesome couple!!
It was a perfect day for a fall engagement shoot. I met up with nicole and jamie and their dog at sackville last Oct. 18 for their engagement shoot. They are getting married on July 7, 2012 and I’m honored to be their wedding photographer for their big day. I’ve never been to the park/trail that we went for their engagement, but I love it! It showed the true colors of fall! while in halifax, the leaves didn’t change its color during that time. I enjoyed spending time with them as I got to know them better and get a good feeling on how they react in front of the camera! 🙂 It would be a blast on their wedding day! Here are some photos of the shoot.
It was my honor to be Nick & Shanon’s Wedding Photographer for their August 27, 2011 Wedding. Both nick andshanon have been together since they were in college and both of them went to SMU in halifax. It was an awesome day, sunny and hot! 🙂 They made their vows at St. Andrew’s Church in Eastern Passage. After the ceremony, we head out at the boardwalk just in fornt of the church for some group and family photos. Then we headed down at Halifax Marriott Courtyard for the reception and the party. Everybody had a blast at the reception and everyone bust a move! 🙂 Heere are the photos from an amazing day!
Courtney contacted me to have some photos for her family and her 1 yr old son Lachlan. They purchased one of my deal find ads. We decided to go to Dingle Park to have the photos done. It was a very nice day for photos, cloudy and a little chilly that day. I was amazed on how cute lachlan and how big he is considering he just turned 1 yr old! It was my pleasure working with the smith family and without furthur a do, here are some of the photos from that shoot! 🙂
Nikki & Tim’s Wedding | Halifax Nova Scotia Wedding Photographer
Nikki and Tim’s wedding was amazing! Their wedding was held at annapolis royale just by the beach. At first we all thought it’ not going to be a good day because it was raining all day. But just before the ceremony started, it stopped! It was a perfect day for nikki and tim. Everything was perfect from that point on. Here are some of the photos from their wedding! Enjoy! 🙂
Terri & Shawn Got Hitched last July 16, 2011. It was a small but very intimate wedding. The wedding took place at Point Pleasant Park in Halifax. I love shooting small wedding because I can concentrate more on them without worrying about other things. With no reception after the wedding, we had plenty of time to get some photos done around the park. Here are some of the photos from this intimate wedding. I thank terri and shawn for choosing me to be their wedding photographer. I was a pleasure documenting their memorable day! 🙂
Melissa & Steve Engagement | Halifax Engagement Photographer
Melissa and steve hired me to be their wedding photographer last 2010. And their wedding was last Aug. 2010. I knw it’s been awhile but I just wanted to share and blog my last year’s activity. We went to crystal crescent beach for their engagement. It was so much fun doing their engagement session. I was still looking for my style and that’s the reason for the different types of post processing I made on there photos.
